Who we are
Dear friends,
I am very happy to present the New Literary Observer publishing house in all its diversity and with the full range of its projects for the future.
Created in 1992, at the peak of Russia’s democratic revolution, the New Literary Observer preserves that period’s powerful impulse of cultural transformation, search for new aesthetic references, and broadening of intellectual horizons. Our publishing house aims to create a unique multicultural and multidisciplinary space around itself, drawing an academic and creative thought, texts and images, making them interact in bold experiment and thus contributing to a constant feast of the spirit.
Three periodicals, 20 book series ranging from philosophy to children’s literature, two annual scholarly conferences and a range of unique cultural events — that’s just a small part of what the New Literary Observer is about.
Do share your ideas with us — with our help, they might become reality!
Yours sincerely,
Irina Prokhorova
