Catherine Guisan (University of Minnesota, USA)

Political scientist. Author of “Un sens à l’Europe: Gagner la paix” (1950–2003) (Paris: Odile Jacob, 2003) and “A Political Theory of Identity in European Integration: Memory and policies” (Oxford: Routledge, 2011) and numerous articles and book chapters on democratic theory, the European Union and international relations. Since getting her PhD (2000), she has taught primarily at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, but also at the Universities of Amsterdam and Utrecht, Netherlands, the University of Grenoble, France, and European University in Saint Petersburg, Russia as a 2013 Fulbright scholar.
