Xenia Cherkaev

PhD in anthropology from Columbia University (2015), currently an International Associate Research Fellow and the Higher School of Economics, St. Petersburg. In 2017–2018, she will be an Academy Scholar at the Harvard Academy of International and Area Studies. Cherkaev is completing a book manuscript tentatively titled State of Dispossession: Neoliberating the Planned Economy. Her articles have been published in Ab Imperio (4/2014) and Anthropology and Humanism (1/2017).
