Julieta Gaztañaga

Anthropologist (PhD), Researcher of CONICET-Argentina, Adjunct Professor at University of Buenos Aires, and Professor at IDES-University of San Martin. Along with teaching political anthropology at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, had carried ethnographic fieldwork concerning political party dynamics, Peronismo, political work and militancy, public infrastructure, globalization, federalism, regionalization and political engagement within the Basque diaspora. Has directed and co-directed research projects, published four books, many peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and conference papers, and was visiting scholar in Chile (U.C.Maule), Brasil (Museu Nacional), France (EHESS), and UK (Manchester and LSE).
