Svetlana Sidorova

Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Researcher in Center for Indian Studies of Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Graduated with honors from the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Great Britain of the Faculty of History of Moscow State University in 1994. Ms. Sidorova is an expert and the author of works on the history of India's colonial period and British colonial politics, including numerous articles, a monograph called Indian Cotton and British Interest. Embodied Politics in the Colonial Era (in press) and (as editor) volume II of Movement and Space published in the framework of interdisciplinary project Under the Sky of South Asia (PNUA — http://www.ivran.ru/pnua).
