The well-known poet and artist Dmitry Prigov was one of the main revolutionaries in turn-of-the century Russian culture. A leading figure in the conceptualist movement, he was awarded the Pushkin Prize in 1993. In the 1990s and 2000s, NLO published several collections of poems by Prigov, as well as all four of his novels.

The first novel, 'You should live in Moscow', is written in the currently fashionable form of a memoir. The Russian capital is portrayed here as the scene of catastrophic, even cosmogonic events.
